Since its inception in 2021, our initiative has been dedicated to enriching the lives of children and teens, contributing over 5,500 free books for youth to build their personal home libraries.
Why does it matter? Research tells us that children with personal home libraries retain knowledge over the summer, entering the new school year better prepared and more motivated to read. This contributes to higher literacy levels and an increased likelihood of receiving more years of schooling.
Your contribution makes a direct impact by putting a book into the hands of a child or teen, fostering a love for reading that lasts a lifetime. Each $5 donation ensures a book reaches a child or teen in your community. What’s more, through February 2024, the Friends of the Goshen Public Library will generously match up to $2,500 in donations! Give now to double your donation and impact!
Your gift to Goshen Public Library is tax deductible. If preferred, you may deliver a donation to a service desk at the library or make a check payable to the Goshen Public Library and mail to 601 S 5th St. Goshen, IN 46526.
