OverDrive / Libby
Goshen Public Library is a member of Indiana Digital Library (IDL). This statewide OverDrive collection offers ebooks, eaudiobooks, digital magazines, and a small collection of videos from 200+ Indiana libraries.
How do I get started?
You will need a Goshen Public Library Resident or Non-Resident card and your PIN. You will also need an Internet connected computer or mobile device (such as a tablet or smartphone).
Download the free Libby app. You can download the Libby app on your mobile device or use Libby in your computer’s web browser.
You can download Libby on:
- iOS 10+ (get it from the Apple App Store)
- Android 5.0+ (get it on Google Play)
- Fire OS 5+ (learn how to install Libby on a Fire tablet)
If you have a Windows computer, Mac computer, or a Chromebook, you can use Libby in your web browser at libbyapp.com. We suggest using the latest version of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge.

How many items can be checked out and for how long?
You can have up to 10 titles checked out at the same time and have 20 active holds. When you check out an item, the default loan period is 14 days for ebooks and magazines and 21 days for eaudiobooks. You do have the option of changing the loan period on any of these formats to 7, 14, or 21 days before downloading.
Can items be returned early?
