Kindergarten – 1st Grade Book Club
Our book club for our pre-readers, or new readers, on the surface is a fairly straight-forward storytime. We will listen to stories and have a craft to follow. But we’ll also spend a short time talking about what we read, to help develop literacy skills. Sign up for one three week session at a time. This club will happen every third month.

The Bookmark Bunch
2nd Grade Book Club
This club focuses on strengthening & building confidence in independent reading skills. We’ll be tackling beginning chapter books, as well as some graphic novels every once in awhile. Each session will be three weeks long and we’ll read one book aloud together (no one will be forced to read aloud if they aren’t feeling up to it that week, but they’ll still need to follow along). Part of each meeting will also include a craft or fun activity connected to the reading, and the final week we’ll have a snack to celebrate finishing the book. Sign up for one session at a time. This club will happen every third month.

The Guild
3rd Grade Book Club
Our 3rd grade book club lets kids dive into exciting stories, chat about their favorite parts, and participate in activities related to the book. It’s a great way for young readers to share their thoughts, make friends, and discover a love for books together. Sign up for one three week session at a time. The Overdue Crew
4th & 6th Grade Book Club
Our newest book club for middle graders (4th-6th grade) is our most traditional book club yet. Members will be able to pick up a copy of the book from the children’s desk after they sign up. Then at the club meeting, members will briefly discuss the book and participate in activities related to the book!
