Concurso de Marcapáginas del Mes de la Herencia Hispana | Bookmark Design Contest for Hispanic Heritage Month

Los invitamos a crear y entregar un diseño del tema “¿Qué significa para ti el Mes de la Herencia Hispana?” Los dos diseños ganadores se imprimirán y distribuirán en la biblioteca.
Los detalles:
- Dibuja, colorea o haz un collage de un diseño en el espacio provisto.
- Si se necesita un papel diferente para una pintura u otro medio, cree un diseño de 2″ x 6″ y adjúntelo a este formulario para devolverlo. Entregue el documento en el mostrador de circulación.
- Un panel de jueces seleccionará a un ganador joven (menor de 17 años) y un adulto (mayor de 18). Los diseños ganadores se imprimirán y distribuirán en la biblioteca durante el Mes de la Herencia Hispana.
- Debe tener o ser elegible para una tarjeta de biblioteca GPL para participar en el concurso.
- Evite imágenes o textos con derechos de autor.
- Todo el trabajo debe ser original. Si se utilizan referencias, debería ser obvio que la pieza en su conjunto ha sido transformada y no es una copia directa de otras fotografías u obras de arte.
- Se considerará una entrada por persona.
- La fecha límite de presentación es el 30 de agosto de 2024.

You are invited to submit a bookmark design on the theme “What does Hispanic Heritage Month mean to you?” Two winning designs will be printed and distributed at the library.
The Details:
- Draw, color, or collage a design in the space provided.
- If different paper is needed for a paint or another medium, create a 2″ x 6″ design and attach it to this form to return. Return submissions at the Circulation Desk.
- A panel of judges will select one youth (17 and under) and one adult (18+) winner. The winning designs will be printed and distributed at the library during Hispanic Heritage Month.
- You must have or be eligible for a GPL library card to participate in the contest.
- Please avoid copyrighted images or text.
- All work should be original. If references are used, it should be obvious that the piece as a whole has been transformed and is not a direct copy of other photos or artwork.
- One entry per person will be considered.
- Deadline for submission is August 30, 2024.
