2020 Voter Information
The deadline to register to vote or update a registration due to a change of address, or name, prior to the 2020 General Election is October 5, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.

There are 3 ways to register to vote in Indiana:
- Online: Using the Indiana Voter Portal. To register online, you will need a valid Indiana Driver’s License or Indiana State Identification Card. If you do not have one, you may still register with a paper form either by mail or in-person.
- By mail: download the printable voter registration form or visit the Reference Desk at Goshen Public Library to request a voter registration form.
- In-person: register at the Elkhart County Voter Registration Office located at 117 N. 2nd Street Goshen, IN 46526 (https://clerk.elkhartcounty.com/en/voters/about-voting/voter-registration/)
Here are the options for casting your ballot in the November 3, 2020 Election:
Absentee Voting
BY MAIL – You must first submit an application for an Absentee Ballot. Applications to vote absentee by mail must be received by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2020.
Absentee ballot application:
EARLY VOTING (also called IN-PERSON ABSENTEE VOTING) – will take place Tuesday, October, 6, 2020 to Monday, November 2, 2020. You must bring a government-issued ID with you to the voting location.

Nappanee – First Brethren Church – 1600 N Main St., Nappanee, IN

October 6 thru October 9 – 8 am to 4 pm – Goshen & Elkhart
October 12 – 8 am to 5 pm – Goshen & Elkhart
October 13 thru October 16 – 8 am to 4 pm – Goshen & Elkhart
October 19 thru October 23 – 8 am to 5 pm – Goshen, Elkhart, Middlebury & Nappanee
October 24 – 9 am to 4 pm – Goshen, Elkhart, Middlebury & Nappanee
October 26 thru October 30 – 8 am to 5 pm – Goshen, Elkhart, Middlebury & Nappanee
October 31 – 9 am to 4 pm – Goshen, Elkhart, Middlebury & Nappanee
November 2 – 8 am to 12 Noon – Goshen & Elkhart

Vote at a Voting Center on Election Day
General Election Day is Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Voting Centers will be open from 6 am to 6 pm, local time. A valid photo ID is required to vote. Click here to to see examples of acceptable photo IDs.
