Goshen Public Library to host Kids’ Art Show & Reception “Into the Woods”
Goshen Public Library is rolling out the red carpet for the students from the Young at Art Studio by hosting a Kids’ Art Show & Reception. Their art will be on display in the GPL stairwell starting Monday, October 14, before moving to the auditorium on Friday, October 18 for a drop-in reception from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
Following the theme “Into the Woods,” the kids’ art reflects on nature, fall, and fairy tales. The library’s partnership with Young at Art Studio offers some of Goshen’s youngest artists a chance to showcase their hard work and creativity.
“The library is really excited to partner with Young at Art Studio for this student art show,” said Grace Thomas, Development and Community Engagement Manager at the library. “I hope that seeing their piece displayed in a public space makes each kid feel proud!”
The Young at Art Studio, located near the Goshen Farmers Market, offers an introduction to art for preschool, elementary, and teens, starting at age 2.
“Young at Art is thrilled to partner with the Goshen Public Library to highlight students’ artwork!” said Amanda Wagner, Owner of Young at Art Studio. “I have personally enjoyed seeing all the art displays at the library and was honored when asked to participate. I look most forward to seeing all the kiddos’ artwork in a public space and how happy and proud that makes each of us feel!”
To see the art display, stop by the library between Monday, October 14 and Thursday, October 17. The show and reception will take place in the GPL Auditorium on Friday, October 18 and is free and open to the public.
